Morgan Jones makes his way to Fear the Walking Dead and a few new characters are introduced in the season four premiere.
The Walking Dead: Wrath Recap
As season 8 of The Walking Dead comes to a close, so does All Out War… rather quickly, all things considered, and with less bloodshed than expected.
Rampage, A Man and His Ape
Rampage puts The Rock front and center with a big goofy ape and it’s a pretty stupid fun ride. He has solidified his ability to not just rake in millions and put butts in the theaters, but he’s proven he can do it with the most unexpected, unasked for properties.
I Dare You… To NOT See Truth or Dare. No, I Beg You!
The writing is clunky, the plotting nonsensical, and the entire conceit laughable. Movies (horror especially) can get by with having just style or just substance but to lack both is unforgivable. Unfortunately, Truth or Dare was absolute garbage.
The Walking Dead: Worth Recap
There’s turmoil at the Sanctuary when a few familiar faces make their reappearance, Daryl and Rosita try to take out one of their resources, and Negan finally hears Carl’s letter… but it may be too late.
A Quiet Place Keeps Audiences Silent & on the Edge of Their Seats
Overall, A Quiet Place is not nearly as horror driven as one would expect from the trailers and the poster. But it is unnerving. As someone who rarely can sit through a horror film, this one was an enticing watch.
Jesus Christ Superstar is the Camp Musical We’ve Been Waiting For
Jesus Christ Superstar was a fun, frolicking musical that has been stuck in my head for days. After a string of mediocre musicals, it’s refreshing to watch a dynamic performance that balances drama and camp. Hopefully, we have more staged concerts like this one to look forward too.
The Magicians: Will You Play With Me? Recap
‘Will You Play With Me?’ failed to deliver the same humor, action, and intrigue offered by its predecessors. Were plot points wrapped up? Yes. Did I enjoy watching the process? No. Will I tune in next season for more? Of course. I may be unimpressed, but I still needs ma’ fix!
You Should Be Watching AMC’s The Terror
Three episodes in, The Terror floats between historical drama and horror. With a stellar cast, this show captures the frozen terror of early British Naval ships on the journey to discover the Northern Passage.
