Created by Mindy Kaling and Lang Fisher, Season 3 finds Devi (Maitreyi Ramakrishnan) still navigating dating, grief, and academics. This season we get to see her relationship with her mom, Dr. Vishwakumar (Poorna Jagannathan) expand and shift in ways that allow for more vulnerability and trust. We also see her cousin Kamala (Richa Moorjani) asserting herself with family when it comes to love and choosing herself and her happiness in the most organic ways. Season 3 provides more tough life lessons for all characters, but also more joy and more peace.
