This standalone sequel to the long-running sitcom, How I Met Your Mother, was created by Isaac Aptaker and Elizabeth Berger. With Hilary Duff’s character Sophie at the center of this journey to find love and narrator, the show tackles the complexities of friendships and relationships in New York City. Of course, Sophie has a fun and dynamic crew to share her woes and successes with her people. She has her best friend and roommate, Valentina (Francia Raisa); Valentina’s British boy and toy and newest roommate, Charlie (Tom Ainsley); and new friends Jesse (Christopher Lowell), his best friend and bar owner Sid, (Suraj Sharma) and Jesse’s younger sister, Ellen (Tien Tran).
