In the Heights is a love letter to Washington Heights and a passionate story that uses vibrant dance sequences and melodic tunes are woven into the intricate lives of the community. It is a wonderful display of Latinx culture that shows the commonalities that bind the community & the differences that make it so rich. It shows how the immigrant story is the American story and reminds us of the importance of family, community, and following your heart.
