Picking up right where Season One left off, this season, we find “Mel” still grieving the loss of her husband, adjusting to life in small-town Virgin River, coming into her own as the rightful partner “Doc” (Tim Matheson, The West Wing) needs in the clinic and running from the unexpected love she deserves from “Jack Sheridan” (Martin Henderson, Grey’s Anatomy).
