Rockstar Book Tours: Join the Adorable Winston the Wombat on His Adventures!

Welcome to our stop on Winston the Wombat’s Rockstar Book Tour! We’re big on on reading books at bedtime in our house hold and so we were more than happy to check out Winston’s adventures. Megan Cline and Sakshi Mangal have created an adorable, precocious character who has a lot to share with young readers.

Each book that we read had a primary message with other lit tidbits thrown in, too. In one book, a hot summer day turns into an opportunity to learn not just about rainbows but other things like friendship. The other books teach lessons on patience and perseverance, taking time to learn things and practicing calm. Each story offers something new and young readers – and their parents – will certainly find them relatable!

Another big draw for this series is, as you can probably tell from the covers, the illustrations. Sakshi Mangal has created this adorable world full of equally adorable creatures. I loved her style and thought it worked perfectly with the story and characters!

About the Author

A lifelong lover of books, and a member of her local library board of trustees for over fifteen years, Megan Cline has been inspired to create this series of children’s stories by her own insatiably curious son, whose questions and wonderings about the world around him always prodded her to think about things that had never even occurred to her.

​Megan currently lives in Iowa with her husband, son, Patsy the dog, and Humphrey the hamster.
