Since the introduction of Black Panther into the MCU, he’s been my absolute favorite new recruit. But he’s been an inspirational symbol for half a decade, and go to this awesome panel to hear some of the contributors to the Black Panther character pay tribute to him.

Screen Gems – Resident Evil: The Final Chapter and Underworld: Blood Wars — 1:30PM-2:30PM The Theater at Madison Square Garden
Who has two thumbs and is massively excited for these two movies? That’s right Alice and Selene are back and I am so hyped. You can’t help but enjoy the Resident Evil film series and the Underworld film series for being some of the best guilty pleasure movies since uncooked cookie dough. To see them come back and bring Milla Jovovich and Kate Beckinsale is just all too much.
Asian Pacific American Comics and Culture — 4:15PM-5:15PM Room 1A05
If you know anything about me, you know that I am all about this panel. As an Asian American, I love any panel that not only celebrates my culture but also embraces the nerdy and geeky side of it. This is a panel you just can’t miss!
Hulu’s Shut Eye — 4:15PM-5:15PM Room 1A10
Hulu is bringing some of their brand new original content to NYCC and this includes Shut Eye, an interesting new show about the world of psychics. Join the cast and creator for a panel as they discuss this new project.

In what I’m sure will be a surprise filled panel, the creators and star of Once Upon a Time come and talk about the new season of their ABC show, they discuss evolving characters and the return of the Evil Queen. Also some surprises seem to be in store, so this is a can’t miss for OUAT fans!

IDW & SyFy Present: Wynonna Earp — 6:30PM-7:30PM Room 1A21

Hip-Hop & Comics: Cultures Combining — 6:45PM-7:45PM Room 1A10
I just can’t wait for this panel. I love hip-hop and it’s integration into comics, especially in the recent projects like Suicide Squad and Luke Cage. Sound and music plays such a pivotal role, and comic creators will talk about how it is incorporated into their works.
Moving Beyond the Strong Female Character — 6:45PM-7:45PM Room 1A18
You’ve heard me rail on and on about this topic again and again, and I am psyched to see this as a real panel at NYCC this year. It’s all about having well-written, fully-developed female characters, who aren’t just about being “strong”. I’m very excited for this panel.
Marvel Television Presents: Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D: Ghost Rider — 7:30PM-8:45PM Main Stage 1-D
I have such a sour relationship with this show, but it’s something I indulge in and there’s nothing more entertaining than watching Jeph Loeb man a panel. Along with a short panel, they’ll also be showing an all new episode of the show at the panel!
AMC Presents Humans — 8:00PM-9:00PM Room 1A06
It was one of my favorite shows last year, and I am excited for it to return this year, Humans show a near future in which artificial intelligence and artificial life become a part of our every day. If you haven’t checked out this show yet, you definitely should.
