After the success of their Psycho prequel series Bates Motel, A&E decided to recreate the horror-movie magic with their latest scripted series Damien. This time, though, they decided to tell the story that came after.
The series takes place over twenty years after The Omen and features a grown up Damien Thorn. This Damien doesn’t remember the past events of the original movie and has simply grown up an orphan. When strange things start happening around him it becomes clear that he can’t ignore his true destiny for very much longer.
If you haven’t seen any of the series yet it’s a great time to catch up on the show. It’s really good and takes a really unique spin on the classic story.
We had a chance to sit down and talk with some of the actors and show runners behind the series. We covered a lot of ground from their thoughts about the original film to their opinion on what it’s like to root for someone who will ultimately become the Antichrist.
