One of our favorite fellow blogging sites, Keysmash, is getting ready to launch their second venture into raising money for charity. Their first project – a fandom-inspired cookbook to raise money for Random Acts – was a resounding success! We covered GIVESMASH Vol. 1 on our site and we’re here to bring attention to their next quarterly project, GIVESMASH Vol. 2: a blogathon for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
What’s a blogathon? Liz from Keysmash Blog is going to stay up for 24 hours, blogging every half hour, over on their site. She’ll also be chatting on Twitter, responding to comments on the site, and hosting trivia games. For every $5 that you donate throughout the blogathon, you’ll get one ticket to enter into a raffle for prizes – including sketches, graphics, and ficlets from fandom artists and writers.
