Say what you will about clickbait but let’s be honest with ourselves here.
We all fall for it.
From Buzzfeed to the Weather Channel and basically any place else on the Internet, clickbait is simply everywhere. It’s an easy trick to garner views and rake in advertising revenue. Some people hate it. Some people embrace it. And today it’s given us something awesome: #clickbaitbooks.
The trending hashtag takes books and overly sensationalizes their plots into mock clickbait headlines. It’s fantastic and it’s hilarious.
Forget about doing anything productive today and hop on Twitter with us! Or at the very least read through some of your favorite below – you won’t believe what books are inlcuded!
