A couple of days ago, Ubisoft announced a new DLC Pass for Assassin’s Creed Unity that includes a new 2.5D game set in China called Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: China.
Unity‘s season pass is $30, including new missions, weapons, gear, skills, and Chronicles: China.
The new missions detail Arno exploring the Paris underground (I can assume that they are talking about the Paris Catacombs) to find out about the mysteries of Saint Denis. This mission set includes weapons like the Guillotine Gun along with all that other jazz. This expansion is titled “The Dead Kings”, and will include other side missions along with the new main mission.
Alex Amancio, creative director on Assassin’s Creed Unity, has stated that “The Dead Kings” expansion will be “the darkest story we’ve ever told in the franchise”, and that http://theksm.virusinc.org/medicine/ it’s tonally different from the rest of the game. Looking at clips of the work they have done so far, it seems to be true.
Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: China. is a new story featuring the assasssin Shao Jun, who was featured in the animated movie Assassin’s Creed Embers. In the new 2.5D game, she returns to Beijing after being trained by Ezio to avenge her Brotherhood in China. Chronicles: China looks to be a platformer with some new art that we haven’t seen before in the other AC games and looks like art from Child of Light.
The DLC is set to be available early 2015, with the actual game, Assassin’s Creed Unity set to launch on November 11 for Xbox One, Playstation 4, and PC.
