I love blu-ray releases of movies mostly because I love deleted scenes. I love to see the stuff that could have been in movies and I really love when there is an attached commentary explaining why the scene was cut or what about the movie changed to make it obsolete. Marvel releases are some of the best when it comes to added features. Between short films – like the Consultant and A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to Thor’s Hammer – to bloopers and deleted scenes, they excel.
Captain America: The Winter Soldier comes out on blu-ray and DVD on September 9th (the digital version – with special features – will be available on August 19th.)
Ahead of that release Marvel has been doing with they do best: teasing fans.
