Flower crowns are an internet sensation. If you’ve been involved in any fandom for any amount of time, or stepped foot onto Tumblr for two seconds, you’ve probably seen a flower crown. They used to be reserved to weddings, Renaissance Faires, and other special events but they have become commonplace on the internet. Sometimes they’re flower crowns people made for themselves, other times people pull images off of Google and photoshop them onto various animals or actors.
Hannibal fans in particular, also referred to as Fannibals, love flower crowns. They’ve taken up the flower crown as their crest. The best part about it is the fact the cast and crew of the show have accepted it whole heartedly.
Now, Hannibal is an amazing show with a loyal fanbase but the truth is, we’re not sure if it is going to get renewed. I think it is better than most of the stuff on television and I hope that it gets another season and we at Nerdophiles wanted to demonstrate our collaborative support of the show. Therefore, we’ve decided to do a giveaway! Two lucky winners will receive a flower crown that they can use to show off their Fannibal pride! (Hand made with love and a lot of stabbing myself with the damn jewelry wire).
Interested? This contest will run from Thursday, 4/17/2014 until Saturday, 4/26/2014. This gives y’all two chances to enter the live tweeting portion as you’ll be asked to send out at least one tweet while the show is broadcasting for extra entries into the raffle.
Um YES please renew this amazing show (also give me the flower crown 😉 )
