EPIC Bar
Have you ever been in a rush with no time for a meal? Want something on the go? Then you’ve probably grabbed a protein bar or meal replacement bar with all the same repetitive flavors. Chocolate. Cookie Dough. Vanilla. Triple Chocolate IN YOUR FACE FUDGE! It’s all the same and they mostly taste the same…fake and leaving you wanting more. I’ve tried my fair share of bars and some are definitely better than others; however, this bar is very different.
The EPIC company has chosen a different approach on how they make bars. Instead of using all the artificial protein powders and boosting it full of sugary chocolate, EPIC uses real meat for their protein source. You heard it…real meat. Like an actual protein bar. Like a beef jerky bar on the go with fruits or veggies or nuts. It’s absolutely fantastic. They are mind-blowingly delicious. So good in fact you need to haul ass to your nearest Whole Foods or health food store and get one. Right. Now.
These bars come in four flavors: Bison (with bacon & cranberry), Turkey (with almond & cranberry), Beef (with habanero & cranberry), and Lamb (with currant & mint). These are all low in sugars – only sugar from the fruits – and pack a protein punch, as well as healthy fats and carbohydrates. What’s even better is all of it is grass-fed meat. So no harmful nitrates and hormones.
I’ve tried all of them and they all taste fabulous. I like the bison, turkey, beef, and lamb in that order. Each has a rich flavor and the nuts add a pleast crunch to the bar. For $3 a bar you can’t go wrong. It’s much better to pick one of these up than a regular protein/meal bar because at least you know exactly what’s inside. I’m going to go to Whole Foods and just stock up on these because they are a quick and healthy snack. A gluten-free, paleo-friendly, and low in sugar snack or meal.
TL;DR
EPIC Bar is a protein bar made with real grass-fed meat, packed with nutrients from the nuts, fruits, and meat. They cost $3/bar and you can get them at Whole Foods. They are gluten-free, soy-free, low in sugar, and paleo-friendly. The 4 different varieties are bison, beef, turkey, and lamb. Go get one now!
