As someone who thought Captain America: The First Avenger was simply mediocre, I’m anxiously anticipating Captain America: The Winter Soldier – the final installment in Marvel’s Phase 2 before The Avengers: Age of Ultron. And you can thank all the supporting characters – Black Widow, Bucky Barnes, Nick Fury, and The Falcon (who sadly does not appear on the official poster) – for my excitement, because god knows Steve Rogers isn’t exactly a bag of fun. Even though I’m so not here for that kiss between Cap and Black Widow – fake or not fake.
Given the whopping $4 million dollars spent on a 30-second Super Bowl ad spot, it better be good… or else. (Or else I’ll just keep paying to see Marvel movies, much like the rest of the world, because I just can’t help myself.)
Because pre-trailers for movie trailers are now a thing, here’s the 16-second preview clip of their upcoming Super Bowl promo, which includes your obligatory Chris Evans’ ass shot and promises of explosions, fight scenes, worried looks, and running away from danger.

The full promo will premiere this Sunday during the Super Bowl, and Captain America: The Winter Soldier will hit theaters on April 4th.
