Hooray!!! I love a good musical. Legally Blonde the musical has to be my favorite that was adapted from a recent movie!!
I’ve seen this musical and it’s FANTASTIC and HILARIOUS! As for favorite musical adapted from a book, comic, movie, etc…I’m tied for three: Beauty & the Beast, Billy Elliot, and The Lion King!
I have seen this, and I absolutely love it! I also love Wicked, because it is amazing. Musicals in general tend to be awesome!

Beauty and the Beast
Hairspray holds a special place in my heart because the original was raunchy and the stage musical had the same vibe. I do not like the 2007 movie musical version of Hairspray because they cleaned it up way too much. I love the film Chicago and would love to see the stage version. I know it’s different from the film and I’ve also heard it’s amazing.
I think that would have to be Charlotte’s Web or 101 Dalmations

I love Les Miserables (not the movies, just the stage version). I have all the songs memorized.
I’ve never seen Shrek The Musical but apparently it’s amazing! My favourite has to be Avenue Q.
I’d have to go with Spamalot as my favorite musical based off an existing work. 🙂 Wicked was great too.
