As a third week of BBC Sherlock set-building comes to a close, 221 Baker Street is starting to look more and more inhabitable.
But our inside-man, production designer Arwel Wyn Jones, is no fool. While it’s true that fans will likely flail over any crumb of series 3 news offered to us, we have an eye for the finer details. So when after a few minutes I worked out what this was supposed to be…
…let’s just say my smile was just about as big as this one.
Yes, the spray-painted, bullet-ridden smiley face is back! As are the beginnings of the kitchen and living room.
And of course, possibly my favorite part of 221B Baker Street, this wallpaper!
Also, as a Friday bonus, we got windows!
In addition to last week’s reminder to always check the sources of your series 3 news, now might be a good time to make sure you’re following Mark Gatiss, Sue Vertue, Paul McGuigan, and David Arnold on Twitter, as the freshest, most reliable updates will most likely come from them. Hang in there, Sherlockians, March will be here sooner than you think!
